Good memory. I cant remember when I had that done. It's been a while and I still ride it that way.
I'm in the middle of all of you here in Greensburg
I usually sit back an look at my Buells and see whats eating me most about how they look or function. I usually let that process in the back of my mind until I find a solution. You do that enough...
1. Correct. I did not use any spacers outside the hub. The adapters did the spacing. The internal spacer between the bearings is the EBR one that came pre-installed in the wheel.
2. The inner...
I dont know what phelans measurements were. Otherwise I would have used them. I based mine off how the front brake rotor sat on the original XB rim.
By not touching the seal, I meant they clear like they should.
They do clear the caliper as well. When moving the bike around, there's no scrubbing sound of the caliper.
I haven't ridden the...
Let's see. Today it was installing some new pegs.

They finally all match. Now to cleanup the mounting blocks where I had to grind them down to fit.
I wasnt excited about the price at first. Then I installed one on my Harley. These are cut from a solid piece of billet. The price seemed to make sense when I think of other parts I bought machined...
I cant help but to wonder why the Uly pegs weren't made interchangeable with the other XB's when so many of the parts are interchangeable between the Buell bikes.
Its about time to change the oil.

I picked up a reusable oil filter kit from K and P engineering. This one has the anodized finish.
In case anyone else wants one. Here's the...
Thanks For the kind words Cooter. When I installed the Uly rear sets, it dropped the pegs about 3” from standard R/S rear sets. That was way to low. The side of my foot would touch on a mild...
You know I'm glad you made that observation. That fender does seem to sit higher than others I've had. I've wondering if there are different part numbers for a black fender.
It doesn’t seem any different to me.
It would probably feel a lot more different if I shed some weight. I‘M 6’4 and 225 lbs
I got the EBR wheel installed on the XB.

You can read how I did that here: ...
So do I now too.
They installed in the wheel with no problem.

They are close but not touching the bearing seal

I installed everything on the bike and torqued the axle down. It all...
Here's the thicker of the 2 adapters.
13866138671386813869
The overall diameter was changed to 36mm same as the other one. And the thickness of the shoulder was reduced to 6.5mm.
Today I got the tire mounted to the rim. I also had the local machine shop mill down the adapters. I asked for the overall diameter to be reduced to 36mm on both pieces.

I know. I saw that thread. It was an inspiration for me to do it. However, as I began with in the beginning post, this has already been done before. I just didn't see any specifics for anyone...
In order to setup the spacer on the rotor side, I laid a ruler across the hub and measured from the ruler to the rotor on the old rim. That measurement came to 17mm.
I installed the rotor on the...
Here's some measurements on the wheels

XB Hub Width
1385913860
EBR Hub Width
I also measured 133.76mm between the forks.
Here's the thicker adapter.

I grabbed the caliper and took some measurements before I go modifying it.

Here's the thinner adapter.
It's worth noting the XB's rear wheel bearing has a 30mm inner diameter while the S1, X1 Lightning rear wheel bearings have a 25mm inner diameter. There are currently conversion kits on ebay that...
