Hope'n to get some ideas from those of you with experience replacing the crank shaft oil seal.
FYI, I'm working on a 2008 XB12XT...
Here's the catch, I've been unable to...
Konarider, great article! What publication did you get it from?
A few minutes too late... damn.
Thanks for the contest xtremelow!
The American Machinist's Union Racing Team bought, tested, and raced the first publicly sold RW750

Question for you...
Is anyone running the new factory ecm map that accompanies the "Rider Comfort Kit"? If so, what are your impressions beyond changes in fan operation?
Thanks for any input!
Buell'rs,
Curious if anyone is running the new ECM map that accompanies the "Rider Comfort Kit".
I understand this map alters the fan operation. I'm wondering what else this might change to...
Nice stuff guys. You just got to believe he'll be back in some way or form...
Hey Buell'ers,
Ran across a rather insightful interview with Mr. Buell that www.thekneeslider.com conducted around the time the 1125 bikes were first introduced. They hit on some pretty...
Didn't know the Firebolts came stock with the dual lights...
Thanks for the invite Dave. We've got some pretty sweet riding here in Colorado. Unfortunately our 80dgr days are over for a while,...
Quick question...
I noticed that all the bike had both high and low beams burning... Did you guys do the 'Head Light Mod' or is this a standard feature on newer models?
Looks like a great ride...
This is (in my humble opinion) the best helmet-related article ever produced...

Enjoy.
I had this exact problem on my '08 XB12XT. I believe this should be a warranty fix... I also believe this is fairly common problem for late model Buell's. (Makes you wonder what they are coating...
Last I checked it was entirely possible to discontinue a previous-year's-model without insulting the entire owner-base... If you're gonna "Re-Brand" don't belittle those of us who have already...
I'd also consider throwing in a few bucks... Keep us posted on the specifics Dave.
Here'a another stupid question...
How much spent oil came out when you originally drained the trany?
Did you drain the existing primary gear oil?
Buell'ers,
Quick question for those of you with fork maintenance/re-building experience…
I have yet to change the fork oil in my ’08 Ulysses XT. I would like to attempt this procedure...
No, the bike is an '08 model with with just over 10k miles on the clock. (I'm the second owner, I purchased it with just over 8.5k). I still have warranty coverage thru the spring of next year...
...
OK...
The breather re-route is at the top of my 'to-do' list. I'm running brand new (OEM) plugs, might try the NGK Iridiums. And yes, running 91 octane.
Back to the re-route... I didn't think...
Wanted to get some feed back from other XB12 Owners...
I have an '08 XB12XT with just over 10k on the clock. The bike is set-up 'stock' (i.e., no exhaust, intake, or ecm mods).
I purchased the...
Hey Buell_Cru,
Any part numbers on yours?
The stock part off my '08 xb12xt reads S0138.2AAA... However, I've been informed by my local Buell Dealer that the above part is discountinued. If I...
