I'm looking for a lock thats made to go on your back tire.
Welcome Buell Bro. If you have any questions just ask....people respond really quick!
I had the same problem. All I did was drain the gas, put fresh in. If that doesn't help just check your spark plugs to see if there too rich, If so just replace them.
Good to get Buell Bro's together!
Sweet deal Buell Bro's. Joe I'm also from Havelock, and thats where I also keep my bike so it can stay in a garage. I'm in G-ville for school but I come down regularly on weekends to ride.
I've seen a couple buells around here, get at me and we can get that nice bike ride in.
That's the nice part about a tap and die set, all you need is a drill bit and you can keep the factory drain plug. :D
You can also get a Tap and Die set and try to fix the threads with that. All you need to do is find the thread count and how big the hole is and your golden. Might be cheaper and I've done it before...
Also make sure to gap them to 0.035, which the 8's are already gapped.
NGK-DCPR9EIX those or the 8's. The 8's are practically stock and the 9's have a better heat resistance. And for your socket, is it an actual spark plug socket or just a regular socket?
Cheers
That must be in that service manual I'm about to get in a few days ;)
I know there's probably a million ways to skin a cat, but what would be the best way for draining the gas out of an '08 xb12s
Here's a listing of all the dealers in AZ.

I'm with Boston on this one, If you can write down a description of the process I would appreciate it. Also I never messed with the ECM , it's stock. I used the Champion spark plugs(I think) I live...
I would go to with the Special Ops. You can YouTube some videos to hear the quality. :D
Me and my old man thought that could be it so next time I go down for a visit we're going to empty the tank and run some new gas through it just to try the easiest routes before we have to take ****...
Lol thanks man!
And the service manual should tell me how to but everything back together when I tear it up? ;)
What's the number for the shop manual and/or does anyone have one for sale?
No and it's been a week since I changed it all because I went away for awhile. I'll try your idea, but it's seeming like to much gas is getting to it or something. I'm going to pull out my fuel pump...
I didn't unplug anything, besides the spark plug caps obviously.:/
I but the Special Ops exhaust on my 2008 Buell XB12S and everything was going awesome. I left my bike at my parents house while I was at college, so it sat for a couple weeks maybe a month. I came...
Cheers!
Can you give me a link to there website?
