I'm with Barret, I would pull the master, clean and install new rubber parts. Quick easy job.
I just did Cooter's 7 minute XB fuel pump removal a couple days ago. It only took me about 35 minutes!
Thanks Cooter, I have the fuel pump on my winter maintenance list. Helps to see the processes,
I freeze the bearing and heat whatever i'm installing it in with a heat gun. It takes quite a bit to get the part hot enough, i try for about 200 degrees F. Take the new bearing out of the freezer...
This battery was in my Ulysses when i bought it in August of 22. The po got it from amazon to get the bike running so he could sell it. I promptly replaced it and put it on the battery shelf. So it's...
I put mine on when i refurbished the bike last winter. Rode over 5000 miles this summer and no problems with them so far. Like Cooter said they will be easy to mod if you wish.
Techspec makes a Buell specific frame/tank grip. I put them on my Ulysses, I really like them.17210
Joebuell06 sent you a pm on shipping prices
Yep, I noticed that one tab is missing when i was boxing it up. I'll get a shipping quote later today.
Another tidbit of information for you is that it's a good idea to use a low strength thread sealant on everything you take apart that doesn't require anything stronger. I use Loctite 565.
Hi Alex, welcome I"m a relatively new 06 XB12X owner myself! This forum has a wealth of information all you have to do is look. I highly recommend getting a service manual also. They are really fun...
I would recommend checking the wiring harness for damage or short. Not a good idea to increase fuse size. You have a problem and need to figure it out and fix it.
Cooter it looks like you and I might have the same affliction. When someone asks how many motorcycles you have and you have to think about it....ya might have a problem!
Technically i think you're right that it is a chopper. From my understanding a bobber has the rear hard tailed and the front end has the factory stock rake. Building one is on my short list The...
That sure is sweet!!!! I have a soft spot for Triumph bobbers.
That's an interesting article. I've had my doubts about the five year narrative, my Ulysses tires are 2017 vintage and have a great feel and grip. I would run those tires.
Recently purchased a lot of Buell parts and this Air Box was included.
Box is un-altered and in nice shape.
Asking $25.00 + actual shipping.

I recently purchased a lot of Buell parts, and these were in the lot.
I believe they are "Engineered Velocity" brand. You can find them on E-bay for $119.00 shipped. ...
If you go the Dorman route plug in the new EVA and cycle the ignition switch to make sure it's in the home position before you weld the cam on.
When my exhaust valve actuator went bad i did the dorman 911-912 mod. It takes a little work but saves some money and works well if you want to keep the system operable.
Just a thought about the parts situation, if you look at other marques that went out of business, once the factory parts dry up the enthusiast community and aftermarket stepped in and solved the...
Thanks i'm new to Buell but have been a motorcycle nut for many years. I always seem to have a collection in the shop! Bought the Ulysses to chase my wife around when she's riding her Ryker. Buells...

I had the dreaded ignition fuse blowing problem and thought i'd add my experience for others that may have this problem in the future. I tried all the checks in Lunaticfringe's above...
