Bump. Riding season is almost over down here in Texas... somebody up north wants this for the summer.
Small Update.The White 03 xb9r is sold
I've had two select seats in the past, and i never found them to be more comfortable than my stock S seat. I guess my ass ain't as sensitive as some.
Other than slightly louder without the extra barrier there, I didn't find any negatives.
No other bikes for sale other than the 03 xb9r project, but I do have my bowfishing boat up for grabs,...
Mother's Back to Black. Can't beat it.
Boredom bump with a 360 video of the bike.

Lets see... This is a 2007 XB12S in Cherry Bomb Red with 9,xxx miles. It is about as perfect of a bike as you can find. It has been my baby. I have a lot of toys and am listing a few for what I would...
Quite likely you fouled the new spark plugs.
Tack on some labor at a machine shop if the header studs broke, which they most likely did.
Are you parting our the motor or selling it whole?
Maybe its the camera position, but from the looks of it, you really need to work on your body positioning. It looks like you are leaning the bike under you while staying straight up.
Do you have a good stator/rotor?
Its the end of the world, so I bought another gun
I live in Houston currently. It would be a flip between Houston and San Antonio. I would personally skip Dallas because its a long way from the water, and I do a lot of fishing.
I grew up in California (central valley). I am now in Houston, TX working as a data analyst. Nice weather most of the year, minus a few hot months mid summer. We have Houston International airport...
You can always reuse the gasket and see if it leaks before ordering a new one. Think of it as a $5 gamble in primary oil for the chance at saving $23 in gaskets.
Sorry, forgot to mention this is on an XB, not an 1125.
So my stator is fried and I am about to order a replacement, but I was curious as to whether I should replace the voltage regulator at the same time. Whats the general rule of thumb here?

Could get a used motor for around $1000-$1500 and save some money. Don't expect to add any value to the bike with paying $2500 to have it rebuilt vs replacing the motor.
Where did you buy the tape from?
My airbox letters are falling off from the heat here in texas. What is the best way to reattach them? Would Superglue work, or is there something better?
$100-150 or so
