Thank you. Isn't the fact they multiple fuses get blown a sign of bad electrical design? Sigh :(

Thank you. Isn't the fact they multiple fuses get blown a sign of bad electrical design? Sigh :(
Great, thanks a lot!
believe it or not, I went to the hardware store and bought a package of 25 15A fuses :)
I replaced all 4 relays with brand new OEM ones (turned out I had that many spare - my wife's Ulysses was...
great site, thanks for sharing! I already have the electrical manual though - is there more info there that could be useful?
thanks again!
Thanks! I am afraid the wiring is a bit different on my Ulysses (you have a Lightening, correct?). I was reading through your original thread - it started off when you were riding, and then it became...
I looked at the wiring diagram, the hot wire that goes into the kill switch is protected by the Key Switch fuse, so if there was something fishy there that's the fuse that would've blown I guess...
Thank you, unfortunately the problem is intermittent, so I can pop the relay out, all good, pop it back in, still all good. For another week. Or a month.
I spent some time studying the wiring...
Hello
Need help please.
Problem is intermittent.
Ignition fuse blown, but ONLY on initialisation, when I turn the kill switch on. If it doesn't get blown then, the bike will start and run...
Hi guys,
I am also having problem with one handlebar. Mine though has 3 wires going to it, while the aftermarket ones seem to have 2 - how would I go about that?
Thank you!
I would send a message to Hepco-Becker and ask them.
K&N filter is black...
KN-177 is my favourite as it has a nut on the bottom which makes taking an old filter off very easy.
Does anybody know the size of these bolts?
Thanks!
anyone had an issue with sidestand fasteners loosening up? Looks like there is not much clearance to tighten them up properly without taking the muffler off - do you need to take the idler pulley off...
the link for 2008 from this page works for me - http://badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142838/142838.html
to the best of my knowledge XB12X rims are different from Firebolt, Lightening, or XB12XT - they are reinforced for off road use. As for axles, I think Buelll made changes to the rear axle for...
Well, Ranger is really just a Mazda :)
The thing you want to avoid is the forks compressing as you go down the road
very good point, didn't think of that. Thanks!
Just ordered a wheel chock, sounds like it will make the whole setup...
Will be transporting Ulysses in the back of a Ford Ranger. Never done that before, so wondering how much should I compress the forks? Want it to be secure and stable of course, but concerned about...
have you tried EBR?
In my experience with spare parts for the cases Hepco-Becker will refer you to the distributor in your country. They may however supply you with the exact part number, which the distributors may have...
Have you considered an XT? I have a 30" inseam and can flat foot my wife's XT and manage on my X with an '06 (tall) seat just fine (tip-toeing of course). I would think you should be just fine on an...
in my experience - if it's a short XB12X screen you just 'yank it off', but the tall XB12XT screen has two bolts on the bottom and 'yanking off' won't do it :)
