This is the cheapest I have found. I want to get the D&D also eventually.

Five1,
What exhaust do you have on there? Is that D&D? If so tell me your thoughts on it. Thanks.
I put one on the rear about 1000 miles ago. I am very pleased with it. My bike is primarily transportation to/from work so I don't get the opportunity to really push it much but the tire has been...
Racer, have you tried replacing the voltage reg? Mine seems like it might be getting worse. I would hate to be riding and lose my lights.
Anyone else have suggestions before I start throwing money...
My bike does the same thing and it also has a new battery. I ride it regularly. I am thinking it is the voltage reg also. Hopefully it makes it another month cause then my riding season will be...
The "creamy" part is most likely water or moisture. When moisture gets mixed with oil it turns milky and creamy. I would clean it out as much as possible, refill with AMSoil, and try riding it...
damm i like that sound.
Everything except the braking surface. Basically just the bolts and where the rotor mounts to the wheel. Relax Lefox, I know better than to paint the braking surface.
I replaced the pads. Caliper looks good. Brakes work a ton better but the clicking is still there. I did not find anything wrong with the rotor either but maybe I will buy new hardware, then take...
If you want to spend the money grandstanddesigns.com has a 240 kit. I believe you use the stock swingarm but they widen your rim and you need a chain conversion. It looks cool, but a little too...
Thanks for the responses guys.
Lefox, I have not changed anything. It actually has been there a while but I kind of disregarded it. Then a friend of mine with more Buell experience than me rode...
First off, I have an 03 XB9S.
When I grab the front brake I initially hear and feel a click noise. I have not been able to pinpoint where it is coming from. I tried retightening the steering...
Gilbert,
I am looking for a D&D exhaust. Email me if you are interested in selling it and hopefully we can work something out. Thanks

Good luck finding a room now. I was at the 100th and we had a great time. Elton John was good and i enjoyed it but it really wasn't appropriate for that type of crowd.
Good luck finding a room...
Oh yeah, how do you like the feel compared to stock? I think I would have to ride an R before attempting this mod.
Great mod and great write up. I love to see the pictures go along with write ups. I give you a rep point.
It appears to have a little orange tinit left on it so I am going to assume it has been replaced. I suppose if I washed it the orange might be more noticeable. Thanks.
Thanks Lefox, I'll check it out. I wonder if the dealer would still cover the recall?
Lefox,
These orange bearings, can I see them without removing the wheel? Mine is 2003 also and I bought it used. I would like to make sure mine are done before I have a problem.
I have amsoil 20w50 in both and am very happy with the clutch, shifting and engine idle. Very pleased all the way around.
Thanks for the cable Phrogg. I appreciate doing business with you.
Yeah I know, I just can't decide if I would like the scg or ss.
Never heard of it but I am interested. Fill us in if you go for it.
Thanks Tork, that is what I have been waiting to hear. I do think that I will go with the D&D because of the midrange rush. That is where I like to be. Thanks for the input. Now if I can just get...
Phrogg, I am ejmcvey(at)gmail.com
Thanks.
