$508! Ouch is correct considering I had already purchased a used one and had it powder coated! Turned into an expensive conversion, but looking forward to it being done!
Ordered a brand new effing Ss swing arm from LSHD1.com today! Tired of messing around with parts with problems!
Oh9bolt, that new lightning tail looks bad ass! Oh and those valve stems covers really hold the air in great!
Found out my newly mounted SS swing arm has faulty welds and has a leak. So now I'll have to decide to re-weld or buy a new swing.
Looks clean Kato.
Lol!
And that 1125 needs to go into the Frankenstein thread! That bike will be fast and also comfortable with that uly tail on it.
^Funny you say that, that's exactly what happened! Lol!
Walked outside, sat down beside it, looked at it for a few minutes, then went back inside! Enjoyed those few minutes!
The whole breather re-route thing to me is a bit of a mystery. I did this to my bike last year and did a 150 mile or so ride and had a very small amount of something in the bottom of it, maybe a 1/4...
Vtech, what size tire do you have on your rear?
Replaced oil lines, put on my SS Swing arm, new chain, and found out the primary cover I bought and powder coated has stripped threads where the clutch cable is received into the primary cover ...
I didn't like my options for a swing arm protector so I worked on a custom guard using some some high impact plastic sheets. Pretty rudimentary right now, but ordered a couple more sheets to dial it...

Got in a few speed bleeders today. Will actually be installing them this weekend! Just trying to make an annoying job a little easier!
Route0766 let's see a full bike pic! The new rear set look good!
Un-effing-believable!!
Have several projects working right now on the bike, one of which was powder coat. PC'd my forks as well. Had Harley take them apart and rebuild them after PC. Put them on...
When metal is hot, it expands. When its cold, it shrinks.......just enough to make sliding them in a little bit easier. It's a tight fit in there!
Replaced front wheel bearings. I read a tip on here to put the bearings in the freezer overnight and that worked like a champ. Took a few love taps from the rubber mallet, but otherwise they fell...
Pulled front wheel bearings, put new ones in the freezer for tomorrow's install. Re-installed my headlight modules after powder coat and hooked everything back up behind fly screen. Probably getting...
Took parts to powder coat!
Thanks brotha! I bet you can't wait to get that S tail finished. You've been at it for awhile now! I haven't seen an undertray ad here before. Maybe throw a post up and see what you come up with?

The devils in the details........

Replaced the front brake clamp as well, but looks just the same!
Sprayed sme plastidip on some parts just messing around with it! Turned out pretty good!
