Thanks for the info John. I'm a little disappointed we won't be able to purchase them actually. I know they're chinese made but would still be a neat little cheap bike to have and it's fun owning...
I used vht flame proof spray paint on a couple mufflers. I think I used satin or semi gloss. Flat is was too dull in my opinion. Either way that paint layed out nice and held up well.
We all appreciate you putting in the time to make up this kits for us John. Received mine in the mail today. Just have to find time to tackle the project now.
Appreciate the kind words as always John.
Yeah, I haven't said anything here for quite some time but I'm always lurking. Still read all you guy's shenanigans. Couldn't resist piping up on this...

Check brake system over. Maybe flush the brake fluid. I've been doing that on every used bike I buy as a precaution. Check the bearing on your belt idler.
I find a thorough cleaning helps you...
I guess that may be the case. I read it as John saying it fit the odd 07's. The late 06/07 TB is still an odd ball then? Like I said, when I had my 07 xb12x I spent a good bit of time trying to...

Only way of purchasing the 07 style in my experience has been through Harley Davidson. I do not know if it is still available from HD
I'd bet you folks have a lot of traffic tie ups that involve everyone politely insisting the other person goes first when a couple cars arrive at nearly the same time at a four way stop.
Very pretty area you live in John, neat vidjya!
Merry Christmas to u and yours!
I never thought it was terrible working between the frame on the rear cylinder. I mean it's a little fiddly, but nothing out of the ordinary considering what I deal with working on cars for a...

Ten four! Thanks for the insight cooter
Ok then, that's pretty much where my thoughts were on it. Ill likely try the rev-mo tune and see if it reigns the afv in a little, possibly it's a bit richer tune?? Can always go back.
Ok, imma thread jack a bit... on subject though. So I've got a 20006 xb12x 11k miles k&n, breather mod, "Swiss cheesed" airbox, and was running a modified stock muffler with a race tune. I bought...
That lightning is a cool piece for sure John.
All u need for your Nascar aero collection is a talladega Torino now!
Thanks John, I do my best!
And yeah, the rev-mo guy seems pretty straight up. I still haven't tried his map bcuz I haven't had time. He did note my afv was a tad high and sent me closed loop map...
