Man thanks for the pics:) I just did that ride from So Cal to St Helens WA up the 1, and my neck was sore from cranking it left to see the view!
Either the clutch is worn out (and will get worse), or hopefully the clutch cable is adjusted too tight.
Try loosening the clutch cable adjustment and see if that helps.
