Hey Cooter,
Alright, I'll give that a try and see if doing it the way the manual specifies yields different results.
I do have a stock muffler and it is a 2006.
Hey gang,
Need some support, as I've gone and done a silly thing. I just reset the TPS in my Uly and I've made it run yet worse. The bike won't even run now for a few seconds, popping and...
Both on order!
I can appreciate that sentiment. I suppose there's a fine balance between going to fish for yourself instead of heading straight for the advice of accomplished fishermen...if you get my meaning.

Word, yes, I'd seen the manifold wrench mentioned, but I wasn't sure exactly what to look for. Thanks for posting those images! Should be all good for now.
Already done so, RMFP. "Read My Flipping Post"
Would you happen to know off hand the part number for the stock seals? Once again, I'm riding an 06' Ulysses.
Thanks so much for your reply!
Hey gang,
From anyone who's replaced the intake manifold seals, can you advise me of any catch 22s and suggest a list of tools? The manual makes it look suspiciously easy.
It's my next...
Hey Opto,
Sure thing, I'll give them a count and shoot you a PM.
Best,
Mr. B
UPDATE:
Today is the day, a friend of mine has kindly offered me the use of his garage space and tools to get the job done, including a floor jack! Looks like I won't have to MacGyver or hack a...
Hey Opto,
Thanks so much for the tips and advice. I did in fact get my rebuild kit from Barrett, the guy is a gentleman and a scholar!
If that drive belt would fit on my 06' Uly, I might be...
Hey gang,
My fuel pump rebuild kit arrives here tomorrow! In anticipation for the job I'm wondering if any can provide some advice on how I could MacGyver a way to get my bike up in the air enough...
Hahaha, yessah!
Agreed, but what else was I going to do while I wait for my dongle to arrive! For science I suppose.
Here here, Fort-Nine speaks and I will listen! K100 next time for sure (if anything), oxidation is no bueno...
I've already reached out to Mr.Barrett, who's a solid guy. I'm looking to get a...
UPDATE:
Was able to access my ECU with ECMspy today, and found two historical trouble codes stored which were for the throttle being stuck open and closed. No other codes listed at present, which...
UPDATE:
Contact has been made! Finally was able to find a solution to communicate with my ECU in a virtual environment (Windows 7). For those interested, the trick was in properly configuring my...
Well if you do happen to remember, definitely drop me a line. It's been quite the undertaking so far...what a finicky piece of software.
It's all good, I know you're not. Just need my Glock for now, the Death Star will come.
Yeah...
Ordered the Buelltooth. Enough is enough already.
Hey Buell XB people!
I need an ECM guru, plain and simple.
The Dilemma: I have ECMSpy installed, I'm fairly certain I've downloaded and installed the proper drivers from FTDI on my guest...
Word, I did the same thing. But no luck as of yet, I'm still getting the installation prompt...even after virtualizing a copy of Windows 7 and getting the executable version of the driver installer....
Okay, perhaps I'll just bite the bullet and snag one. Just out of curiosity, you wouldn't happen to know of any other desktop applications I could try in the meantime, would you?
UPDATE:
So, in my big old box of spare parts I found the USB cable needed to interface with my ECU! The problem, is that upon booting ECMSpy I get an prompt asking if I have a host FTDI drivers...
