06 Uly blinkers are physically breaking or cracking, time to upgrade to LED blinkers. I did some research in old threads and EP35 or EP36 flashers were suggested as a flasher replacement. Has there...
Good luck NJ. Does it now have a salvage title?
Get well soon. That really sucks. You mentioned new tires. Could that have been an issue?

06 Uly had this problem a ways back. Notice the wire that rubbed through the insulation for this fuel pump.
Will keep that and all options on the table.
Pik nailed it!
Got it, thx.
Cole was AzMidget back in the day.
Just curious... What happened to Buelltooth.com? Cole Houser?
I have the dongle and access to maps, but was wondering if he sold his interest another company like Revision Moto?
Thanks Mesozoic, I’ve got my Buelltooth and Amazon Fire tablet ready to load the ECM. Unfortunately we both needed to head home to our respective States and will not resume trouble shooting for a...
Nah, he's an old friend that lives in Illinois. You haven't met him. We grew up together. Thanks for the offer, but I think I can do the screwdriver thing to get it out, but if I run into trouble...
Roger that Cooter, thanks.
Awesome help guys, thanks.
Doing good Kenny, nice to hear from you. Thx for the reply.
I’m only in NY until Saturday then back to California. A friend of mine bought this bike to leave here in NY so we can ride.
It’s...
New to my buddy: 2008 XB12scg, 4,300 miles. Sat for 11 years or so in Florida. Suspect cannabilization of parts have occurred. We're presently in Upstate NY and not too cold out yet to affect...
Thanks Cooter, I'll see if my buddy wants to take off the Primary and clean. Picking it up today from the tire shop.
Thanks John, I'll take your advice and have him change the primary oil a few times until it cleans up. Check for all the leak areas you mentioned. Run it hot a few times. When I opened the drain...
Hey Everybody,
My buddy just bought a 2008 Buell XB12scg. Looks good with a few exterior issues, blinkers removed, mirrors removed, etc. Nothing too difficult to resolve. The bike has 4,300...
When riding cross country I didn't carry an extra belt, but what I did was have a spare at home. I let my wife know where to find any of my parts. If I needed anything I could have her overnight...

I watched a MotoGP race at Laguna a few years back in person. The corkscrew is legendary. The Stoner vs Rossi race is epic. Racers say there's not one point on that track that you can relax and...
Green light went out again. I took the opportunity to try to start in in neutral with clutch in and out. It wouldn't start with clutch out, but started with clutch in, so I think that confirms the...
Thanks guys, that's a tremendous amount of help. I'm gonna order the switch and when/if the light goes out I'll change it out.
This might be the first glitch I've ever had on this bike. It's...
If I was to solo ride to Alaska it'd be on my Uly, not my SS, LOL. BUT, if I clean up that switch I'm thinking at least 3 beers.
Thanks, it seems you're on to it with engine junk. The light is on now. I jumped the gun a bit by posting and was surprised to see lots of previous threads on this subject. Much more common than I...
