Yeah man, it's kind of a bummer but absolutely no need to replace the swingarm. Some touchup paint and noone will ever notice.
... At least it didn't rub the oil lines!

Thanks for the tip, but the exhaust tip is the only part i really need.
I had the GP1 style can, the vibration of the bike caused a fracture on the tip, and eventually i had to cut the tip off...

I really like the new triumph tigers, really mean looking. And that triple, yum. Only ~100hp though, which is great for a air cooled v-twin, but not so hot considering the liquid cooled 800cc...
Hmm, i ran the K&N for a while, should i be worried?
I never once saw the oil pressure light stay on for an extended period of time on startup, or come on at any point while riding.

Probably will need to swap the harness/ecu along with the 08 motor/trans, but that should be pretty easy.
I put an 07 motor in my 04, but that was a bit easier because they actually share the same...
Well, at least you discovered it. I'm confident an experienced welder could fix that.
