Google would disagree. Bunch of these on the BadWeatherBikers forum.
I'll take a look at the connector again as I may have pulled a different one.

OK. Searching has shown me that this is a common problem with the XB's. I've done some of the troubleshooting steps. The fuse blows when I have the ignition relay in place. It does not when I...
I'm thinking the possibility is 3. I'm actually waiting for a replacement turn signal right now. I'm still going to run the test on the VR.
OK. Just ran out and checked the fuses. The ACC fuse was burnt out (thank you Buell for including spares). Cluster functioned as soon as I replaced the fuse. Worried though based on all the posts...
On the way to work this morning the entire guage cluster went out as well as the turn signals. I still have power to the headlights. Any ideas? Haven't looked over anything yet but might it just...
Thanks guys.
Dang bolt fell out of my shift lever on the way home. Nothing like trying to get through town in 4th gear. Luckily I was able to save the inner shaft on the lever without that falling out as well. ...
Managed to find one for $50. Hoping this doesn't happen with this one as well. Amazing how much difference it made one I turned the light on. Will be nice not to have to drive with the high beam...
OK. Got it. Thanks. I should have just taken care of it when the recall happened but my Buell dealer was a real pain in the ass to do anything with. :-/
Walter Brothers is telling me they need to sell me the whole headlight assembly ($98). Didn't they offer just the reflector as a separate part?
Thanks. Sent Walter Brothers an email. Don't need the entire assembly, just that metallic part.
Can anyone direct me to a dealer/etc. that would have the replacement headlight piece that was issued in the recall several years ago? Need to replace mine finally on my XB9R due to the metallic...
Hey guys, I accidentally ordered the wrong sprocket for my chain conversion. I was already running a 520 setup and wound up getting a sprocket for a 530 setup. DOH!!!! Anyways, I have the sprocket...
So even with the tensioner you're adjusting it to the same tension as a typical chain driven bike?
I've actually got the freespirits setup so I have the chain rub/etc. I ran quite a while on it previously but after 5 years wound up with sprocket wear. I think I wound up overtightening it at some...
Anyone?
Hey guys, I was wondering with the chain conversion how tight eveyone is running their chain. It would seem with the idler sprocket that we shouldn't be running the chain as loose (1-1.5 inches of...
I get what you guys are saying. I've already been running a chain conversion. What I'm saying is that the PBI 277 sprocket isn't even close to the current sprocket I'm running. The shop messed up...
I have the Free Spirits kit. Bought it back in 2006. Need to replace the front sprocket due to wear. Saw several folks here who have done chain conversions and they are using either the V-Twin...
I just hunted down someone that had a xb9sl and we swapped suspensions (forks, rear spring AND KICKSTAND).
Hey, I'm interested in the gloves if they are still available. Email me at pcmodeler@hotmail.com.
Gee, you should make carbon fiber windscreens for the XBR series.
I've been really happy with my Shinko Ravens.
I had mine done in black but mine were a bit easier since they were the bare aluminum (03 xb9r). I had mine done in black. Think I paid about $150 or less for each.
Where in Virginia do you live? I'm in Richmond.
