Bike is great, ninth child on the way, I just can't have it anymore.
I'm forced to sell my beloved Buell, just over 5K miles. Needs battery and has the comfy seats for rider and passenger. drfeivel@gmail.comnull
Go for the 12. I happen to know a good deal on an '06. just a tick over 5000 miles with the touring seats and extra Lightning pegs (1" lower for a little more comfort on longer rides) drop me a...
It's a mirror image, no?
I was on Jackson Mills Rd on Friday, May 22. As I passed Harmony Rd I saw a Black Lightning with a jap bike waiting at the light. I was not on my bike but - wow - another local Bueller. Sound off.
Remember the CR is geared lower than the R for more 'hooliganlike' (read wheelie prone) behavior.
Hey fahren, every try the strawberry pie at The Crabs Claw? We once drove from New Jersey just for that pie. (1985)
That's what I thought, but what the hey. My real reason is for my 823cc thumper idea on the thread concerning the Blast intake manifold. But a 1650 Firebolt would be pretty radical, no?
My local parts dept seems to think the Blast intake manifold might mate to the front of an 883 Sportster motor. He matched the O-ring but was unsure of the mounting hardware. Anyone know?

Can the jugs on an XB12 be bored to 4"? I know this would require boring the cases to accept the bigger pistons and coupled with a four inch stroke...
Anyone got info on the feasability?
I'll be installing my homegrown system Sunday night. Not quite as 'quick relase' as that but much cheaper. I'll try to post a picture by Monday. BTW, just retap them if there a little stripped. ...
Just got mine last week. Making a new way to install it cos I don't like the stock system, it kinda lends itself to crossthreading. I was also led to believe it would be a long wait but got it in...
I just got a more comfy seat for my Fireblot from Buellparts.net and it's really nice. More and firmer support. Might be an idea, the stock seat is a little lacking, at least for someone like me...
Only $6500. NADA avg retail is over $7K folks. Ocean county NJ.
5000 miles. I have original pegs and lightning pegs.
I also have a 3" + Zero Gravity windshield. Otherwise stock and sweet.http://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/623_20090127203851_L.jpg
Thanks Davehttp://www.buellxb.com/buell_images/623_20090127203851_L.jpg
Hey LeFox, what can I say, your forum skills are phenomenal. I couldn't figure out how to upload a picture in a thread (although I figured out how in users pics) and you find a still from an obscure...
That would be far too normal. I like Buell's!
I could even rig it as a two hour job to switch:D
Maybe this is heresy but has anybody looked into converting a Firebolt into a cruiser?
Bought my Firebolt at 40 years old.
Me and one of my kids riding around Blueclaws parking lot. Sorry can't figure out how, so I posted it in the owners pics section.
The best thing to do with your bike is to ride it. Nothing else comes close. I admit I'm not as tough as I was in my younger years (I've ridden in 10 degrees) as I don't go out much below 30...
I think the owner works there at night cos I only see the bike at around 6-6:30 when I leave work.
The old boot in the door used to work for me. I was younger back then.:D
What haven't I done for a living. I was a machinist for the US Navy (no, I wasn't a squid, I was a yardbird in Philadelphia)and several private outfits until '98 when I ended up in retail management.
