Priming is just fine. Threw in some iridiums abt a year and a half ago. I was under the impression that w/ the iridium plugs you can put them in and forget abt them.

These bikes can be finicky if the plug/wires/coil aren't fully correct in every way. I'm banking that fresh wires will get you right. Don't forget the grease.

In regards to the plug wires - some people have yet to figure out the wonders of dielectric grease. I'm gonna guess that the severely mangled wire came off the rear.
