The stock clutch has 8 fiber and 6 steel plates with the rivet plate in the middle. The upgrade kit eliminates the rivet plate and has more plates to make up space. The stock pressure plate is fine....
Did you remove the rivet plate on the clutch and replace with another clutch plate? Primary/Trans gets hammered when they come part. What about the ecm?

That bike has been for sale a long time. And to me the price is a little high with that mileage on it. But the rims and the penske shock are not cheap. The stock shocks are a weak point. Also that...
yes, I have along with his 1250 kit which is 10.5 compression and 30 degree domed pistons along with red shift 575 cams. A custom tune makes it all come together. Flat out rips.

Try sportbikelites.com I have not used their stuff but they have LED lites and lic plate brackets for your bike. The website is not the easiest to use.
Are you thinking of the "diesel moto" kit? That's the one I have if I remember right.
Not on this XB build. Used their big fin 1250 kit. I am in the early stages of a 88/90 CI build for one of my X1 bikes. AKA gathering parts... it will be at least next year before the start of the...
Correct and if I remember right I needed different lenght push rods too. Hammer are the ones who did my head work and I used their big bore kit too. Call Dan he will walk you thru it.
Oops forgot to add. I had to have the cam box area clearanced with my R/S 575 cams. So you may have to.
Make sure to install valve springs to match the lift of your cams. Zipper will not ship the cams to CA. They won't even bill a CA resident and ship to another state close by. Hope you have a way...
Try this website sphdonline.com all they sell is Buell parts and they are owned by a HD dealer.
Well I would think that the rubber velocity stack would rot out and crack where it stretches around the T/B and a throttle body shaft/bushing would wear out and get sloppy. Also maybe get an extra...
Throttle body assembly and the rubber velocity stack?
I wonder if those air scoops force more air to the cylinders than stock with a 2010 right side air scoop? I kinda like the looks. Any one have a picture of the left side?
That is one of the oils I use too.
