Hey guys. Never did get a chance to pull the fuel pump. Actually had a lady pull out in front of me 9 days ago and I hit her Escalade doing 45...totalled the bike out. Messed my wrist up pretty good...

I actually just did all of that when I got the bike repaired, and also swapped for xb9 gear and primary chain, so I'm 100% sure that is correct. Also replaced clutch cable with brand new one.
Also not sure how to check the timing curve as you mentioned. I use ecmspy but am open to other suggestions if there are better ones out there.
thanks for the advice cooter. from what i gather i dont need to remove the rear tire? that was my big holdup atm because i dont have a tool to remove the axle....
yeah im glad it isnt a trans issue. just wish i understood why it only does it when im under 2500 rpms at an even speed...doesnt do it at all when accelerating even under 2500 rpms. as frustrating as...
it definitely still does it after adding in the ground from the back coil mount to frame. i suppose my next thing will be to go ahead and get some intake gaskets even though im 99% sure these arent...
chick yes it happens in every gear.
I didn't gap them they looked spot on when I put them in, and it happened with the old plugs too. Also haven't oiled the filter as it's new and hasn't needed done yet.

alright i went through and double checked any exposed wires i could get to short of rotating the motor to take off the whole wiring harness and inspect each wire. i didnt find anything damaged or...
ok guys...got an 04 XB12R...ive done breather reroute...has a D&D exhaust, race map, K&N air filter, DCPR9EIX Iridium spark plugs, new spark plug wires.
this bike has always had a stutter problem...

well my buell (and 2 rental cars and my car and gfs car) were totalled by a drunk driver....it isnt official on the buell yet but just the part list alone is $4600 on the estimate...arent done with...

ok i finally got the bike all put back together from the broken exhaust stud fiasco....oil light was on...come to find out the oil pressure indicator switch isnt hooked up, and i cant see the wire...
not to dredge up an old thread...but the racetech part that was mentioned comes in 3 different shaft sizes....what size works on the xb12r? would be helpful information for people wanting to go that...

Not sure what the shop used, but it has t be rethreded once the stud comes out. It is pretty messed up.
Already looked into it. All shops around here want 300 or more to fix it
