ok i worked it out, these are the inside pics, not much to it, the end cap is welded on, its fiberglass mat, im going to attemp to make it myself, instead of the other DIY pipes.

i did the abrasive pad idear on my firebolt, came up great for such little work, got ride of the 2 years of burnt on dirt and road grime, If youve got 1/2 hr, remove the chin faring first so it looks...

hey jusy did the airbox mod, the first thing you notice is the sound, its louder but its still good at low rpm, just when you open the throttle you can really hear it, definatly gained performance...
