'Lumpiness in the power curve'. Somethings amiss.
Depends where you ride.
20:1 works well

here
I run a XB12r. Two different exhaust configurations and of course tunes to match. Actuator removed. Stock airbox cover, breather mod. Bike runs well.
You can use a screwdriver to try and pinpoint that noise if you don't have a stethoscope
so far so good. It will probably outlast me.
While we're on the subject of exhausts
edit: I used metal type locking fasteners on the exhaust nuts. Rt side scoop won't fit without major modification.
Thanks for that
I'll look in the manual
Set the bike up for your riding weight also.
Would you suggest a temp setting please.
Metal lock nuts just installed. The stockers were falling off.
Force headers came today so I'll be doing that install tomorrow, with metal locking nuts....
I only use a gal at a time and the fuel stays shoved to the back so no I don't worry, about anything. Worrying causes stress, stress kills.
running our's hoseless
Fan set for 2 minutes, key off. 175°/ 160,
I suppose the fan could be coming on while riding and if it is I certainly couldn't hear it.I put some thread locking nuts on the studs, metal type.
Thanks, I'll look at error mask.
[QUOTE=Cooter;624884]You'll just get a CEL and a code, unless you uncheck the 'fan' on the Error Mask page of ECM parameters in ECMDroid.
But I gotta ask. Why?[/QUOTE
The only time it comes on...
I might just remove my fan altogether. Will this wreak havoc on anything if it's not there, electrically?
I'm thinking any sport tire is good enough for street duty.
I just might have a rs scoop 4 sale.
You don't need any fancy fuel. Waste of $$ and the bike won't run any different. Just use a fuel stabilizer.
I would loose my patience and take the primary cover then install the cable. Oil needs changing anyway
who is there to fill there shoes?
