    Easiest solution is to run a second handlebar clamp upside down under the stock one and run longer bolts. They are hex key (Allen head) 5/16"-18 thread.

    Anything that you can use to fill the scratches to make them disappear will be temporary and have to be reapplied later. Best bet is to start over at 400 (220 to 600 is a huge jump) and do it again....

    As for the "984" actuator cover, that piece is stock on 06-up XB9, just a beauty cover for the unused actuator mount. Really a nice foresight...
