Reply With Quoteit only starts to tick when it warms upn. i was reading on other forums on harley motors and it can be the lifters and or most liky from my dumbass not setting it to tdc when putting the rocker boxes back on.
so the other day my valve started ticking. i new i should have checked the lifters!! or maby it was cus i forgot to set it to tdc when i tightend the rocker box on not shure any insight would be great

set them to tdc it kind of important, lol. If I remember I was thinking that we didn't have to do valve adjustments, but that sounds really strange!
ne we dont have to do valve adj. i was changing all my top end gaskets. forgot to go to tdc that could be y its ticking just the front cylinder
