you unscrew the bolt above it then remove the ramp assembly then you can unhook the cable
So I am sitting here replacing my broken clutch cable and I cant figure out how to take the cable off the hook in the primary... Whats the trick here???
you unscrew the bolt above it then remove the ramp assembly then you can unhook the cable
Which way do I unscrew the bolt? Clockwise or counter clockwise?
i think it is clock wise one way it will twist and stop the other will just spin the nut out be sure you re adjust it per the manual.
in the picture it looks like you already have the nut off which is actually what I was referring to off... i think it comes off clock wise.. then the ramp should just pull out
Browland is correct, the ramp will slid out and then you will be able to rotate the cable seat counter clockwise, then slid it rearward, then remove the seat from the end of the cable
I got it figured out thanks to you guys, reps for all! :D
yeah don't feel bad that delayed my primary removal about 3 weeks my first time when I finally figured out the nut I was like you have got to be ****tin me
when u put it back together; turn the screw to adjust the cable length-to the handlebars-for the right clutch cable adjustment length
That Buell for ya :D They do some strange things, but I still luvs em!
