So when I brake hard or compress my front forks by holding the front brake and rocking the bike I hear a loud click or tick from the front end... I checked and made sure all front end components were tight.. but it still does it... Could it be the bearings in the triple tree? how would you inspect? any info would be appreciated. The bike has about 22000kms.
I'd get a heavier pal to straddle the bike, shoving down on the front end and you walk around & listen for the sound. Also, pull off the windscreen right now, seen some have the horn brackets & other crap loosen up behind there and make various noises.

yeah on step 4 above. have someone lean the bike onto the kickstand (raising the tire off the ground) and grab the bottom of the forks and shake, listening for your sound. this method may work if the forks are loose enough. you can also try placing your hand on the yoke and the frame and see if you can feel the two part shifting while someone is rocking the bike on the ground.
