I know that Lefox had started a thread aboot cleaning our beloved Buells but I thought I would ask my brothers and sisters what tips or tricks as well as products that everyone uses.
I have read aboot people not using water to clean their babies, leaf blowers employed to dry, toothbrushes used for those hard to reach places..etc, etc

Whatever works for you, I would appreciate hearing aboot it
Thanks for everyones input in advance :D

safe riding, ATGATT and keep the rubber side down
    :)

well the only trick that I use that may not be something typical that my dad tought me when I first got my M2 was to use carb cleaner to clean stains on the engine. But since most people here have either black or magnesium colored engine covers on there xbs I am not sure if this trick works well for those parts.

J/K mine gets a bath once in awhile i just wet it soap it and dry it. I just only do it when it needs it.

What can i say i like my girl a little dirty.

Plus the rain cleans her up just fine.

Typically I use soap and water to wash the bike down. after it is dried and all that I apply some of the novus small scratch remover with a soft cloth, rub it in really well, then it is usually fairly sparkly.

I like mine clean. I like to keep a coat of wax on the fairing on my firebolt. Makes washing the bugs off easier. But when they do get caked on pretty good, I'll get my wash rag wet and drape it over the front to soak those bugs so they wipe right off. I usually just let the wyoming wind dry it off when i'm done washing.

    Rinse the whole bike

Wash down the whole thing with water + Dawn dish soat

    Hand dry

Remove tank and windscreen plastics and work some Novus 2 over them, inside and out (see through acrylic)

Apply novus 2 to all other plastics on the bike

Touch up headers with wd40/scotchbrite pad if any fingerprints/marks

    Go ride!

I wash mine with soap and water. Then blow dry it with the leaf blower. I then wax it and use S100 on the engine cases.

Simple Green gets all the crap off the wheels and helps dissolve the grime on the tires. Let the Simple Green soak for about 5 minutes (out of the sun) then rinse.
