You would have to be running 7 sec 1/4 miles to beat him in a race like that, no matter how hard you try he will beat you since a stock Harley can do a 1/4 mile in 13-14secs. Your bike can do a 1/4 mile in about 10.5 secs.

09CRRED1, are you giving money away? There is no freakin way you going to win on either arguments. First argument, you lost before the race start. Second argument, he'll beat you before you shift to 3rd gear. You are crazy!:D

you can give me 1/2 dollar for my 1/4 dollar , i'll take that exchange all day long.

but no matter what or how much headstart you get or give him.
He has got you beat because he has all that fast chrome. not to mention the (at least one or more of the following)better aerodynamics with the doo doo ragg and fringe on the handle bars , sissy bar, leathers chaps, big aero-gut , and / or cup holders !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummmm, isn't this a little late for April Fool's?

HALF a mile head start on a 1/4 mile race... so let's see how this works:

The other guy starts... hit's the 1/4 mile, WINS, turns around, comes back a 1/4 mile (if you're doing the math, we're NOW at a half mile) tags you & then you're supposed to do a 3/4 mile for what purpose? Uhhhh

And not to be an A-hole, but do people not proof-read what they post? I'm not even talking content, how about basic spelling and grammar? It takes real effort to decipher some of these posts & answers. Geeze.

I know I make spelling mistakes from time to time but those are mostly at work because I cannot use firefox at work and ie does not have spell check on it. But I would say for those of you who are spelling challenged like my self firefox is your friend as it has a built in spell check (besides you can give it a buell theme)

Agreed. if you can find a way to mod your bike to do a 3/4 of a mile in 13-14 seconds, you may have a chance... otherwise, I doubt it.
