that one wasn't slower :P
On top end yes we are slower. Even the 600's will walk off and leave us.
However red light to red light we can hang with most anything. After about 80 mph the 4 bangers really start building steam and getting into their powerbands really good.
Our powerband is right off the line so you get the jump and hold on to it as long as you can.
If you are really looking to be the fastest you have the wrong bike. Our bikes are more about usable power, and handling capabilities in the curves.
yeah, i like the power of my bike no to much not to little its just right for what i will be doing. im no speed demon i dont plan on going 120 but it might be fun i just dont want to kill myself haha. does anyone have a problem getting the damn thing in neutral, i swear its the biggist pain in the ass lol
it's easy to miss neutral if your clutch is dragging a tiny bit or you try to go to neutral right after moving, but if you sit a few seconds I found it easier to find the green
I also recall going into neutral from 1 being easier
my buell is still more fun to ride, but it was a rush to wind that r6 up to 17k, i still am surprised those motors dont fly apart
Just a thought, as I understand it my 08 Bolt does 138mph tops. I've never been there ( on this bike at least) but at that point who cares? It's WAYYYYYY faster than you or me are. Just my 2 cents. Wayne
yah i always like to see how fast i can get a bike or car when i get it, but many people bragging about that **** sooner or later end up with a wrecked bike or hurt
