Won't start after long storage???

Had the Xb12x stored for a little over a year and now i can't get it to start. Went down and got a new battery installed it and it turns over but won't start. I pulled the front spark plug to inspect and its still sparking so replaced it and still nothing. Any suggestions?

yeah tried that and filled it up with a new tank.
