The service guy you spoke to is correct. Remove the front rocker box cover and rocker assembly. That will give you enough slack in the rods and lifters to easily slide the front cams in.
here ya go man they ARE NOT IN ORDER. hope they help you out

Loosen the rocker boxes, put the number 1 cyl at tdc, install number 2 cam,the marks on the other cams line up w/ #2 as the base.Be carefull to maintain tdc as you go.Also, you will will have to push and hold the lifters up and out of the cams way w/ small screwdriver as you slide them in.When there all in,check your tdc mark, then all the other timing marks on the cams,if they are aligned, slowly rotate the crank until your all the way back to #1 tdc and recheck marks.Ive done this about 5 times, changing high performance cams on my 2 sportsters and havnt had a problem. Also ,I should have mentioned, removeing the spark plugs should happen first ,to make this all smoother.Good luck
well got it all back together and its running..........but its not running right. All the Cams were lined up right but it seems like there is pressure in the engine. I took it for a ride and when i let off the gas it felt like i was holding the brake. When i give it gas all the power isnt there. Any ideas?
