Anyone ever swap out their 9 for a 12? Just curious. New XB12S's are hard to find now, so was considering swapping in a XB12 motor.

I am thinking engine, ECM, throttle body, air box, header, and exhaust would need to be swapped.
Would be cheaper than buying a new one I figure. Maybe 2500 in parts?

Will the 9's wiring harness work? What about fuel pump?

Yes to the harness and pump, ecm you can just flash with emcread, nothing differnt in the air box,

Thanks stalker, I thought maybe airflow would be different but I suppose I could always add more holes to the airbox if needed.

Am I correct thinking the XB9 and XB12 use the same frames and engine mounts as well?

I did some digging and figured I would need to swap the rear sprocket as well.
