other than that, the fairing is held on with the same bolts that hold together everything else on the body: T27 shouldered bolts
I'm losing bolts like crazy these days...
What kind of bolts/screws were used to fasten the chin fairing to the frame? I have both stainless hex and torx screws...I should say, had both...lost a few and would like to re-fasten it properly. Maybe use locktite this time.
I also notice I have a broken off bolt at the front of the can...I take it there were two bolts screwed directly in, unlike the rivets on the rest of the fairing?

MY BOLT HAVE TO BE TIGHTENED EVERY 500 MILES OR SO. lOST A FEW ALREADY... F- caps lock sorry
T27's for the two front screws as well? Thanks guys...I'll make a stop at the local fastenall tomorrow...
yeah, they are 1/4 20 thread torx shoulder screws
the front two are shorter and lack a shoulder
My chin faring wasn't on my bike when i got . when i put it on I used nylock nuts they work good.
I use Loctite 265 or 270 on same assemblings as I had the same problems. 270 use carefull as its then hard to open the connection. 265 is mainly ok... Do not mix stainless and carbonsteel&zink plated fittings, the corrosion can be realy exessive.
