Hey everyone. I got my 03 Firebolt about a year ago and have enjoyed riding it. Today though I thought I would give the old bike a wash... Well a few hours late when I got on it to go for a ride I noticed my blinkers were really really slow, taking almost 20 seconds to "flash." On my ride though I think they dried out and now they work just fine, but I noticed now my running light doesn't come on. The brake light works though. All the other lights work fine now except the running light. Checked fuses, and all the connections I could get at under the fuse box. Any ideas where else I could look? Im pretty sure its just water in a connector or something simple like that. Anyways hope the description is enough. Thanks for reading.

if you mean your tail light it could be as simple as changing the bulb. 2 phillips head screws hold the lens on check that out

Yeah its the tail light. However it comes on when I hit the brakes. I took out the tail light holder and reversed the connector on the back so that the break circuit would be the "running" light and it lights up just fine. but then of course I don't have a brake light. So I'm not sure if its just the light.

No doubt its the tail light. Anyway it goes ahead when I hit the brakes. I took out the tail light holder and turned around the connector on the back with the goal that the break circuit would be the "running" light and it illuminates fine and dandy. be that as it may, at that point obviously I don't have a brake light. So I don't know whether its simply the light.

    From easy to difficult:

Check the bulb, check the fuse, check the circuit.
