Twisty roads (is that "good"?) are rare in my experience; same with northern half of Indiana and most of Illinois.
Origin of most secondary roads is United States survey grid system: straight lines.
These areas are predominately glacial plains: flat nearly level topo cut by streams.
Glacial till soils are subject to frost heave, too: beware of potholes.
I'm attending, maybe camping on site, but likely driving a car.
