I was going about 10mph on grass, the front wheel locked up and slid out, peg must have dug deep into ground stopping the momentum of the bike. (just my guess)

is this frame part easily replacable? it looks like it could be.

Its easy to replace, three bolts on the top, remove the master cylinder from the back and re-install.

    Part Number - N0527.1AKYBP - Around $160 American

I can probably get it welded at work, cover it with some stickers or some 3M reflective tape, then buy the part later. (but before inspection) Can you get me a better deal than 160?? (hehe)

Can I do my own maintenance without voiding any warranty? I have no service plan at the moment.

The only Mods I will probably get:
    1. Tall windscreen
    2. heated grips
    3. adding lights(keeping the existing)
    4. lowered seat(mabye>eventually)
    5. heating element in the seat (mabye>eventually)

OK, what can I do maintenance wise??
    oil/plugs/filters/brakes... is that it?
    what if
I get the service manual and the software for it?
I am somewhat familiar with car software for my VW/Audi. (Vag-Com)

    Thanks for any info,
    Mike

I have no idea where you are going to get a better deal. I only sell obsolete and old stuff on here. Otherwise I would have a full time job just selling on here. Check around, unless you find it used or wholesale hook up, thats going to be the only price

Yea I figured that. I was kidding about the price. My work can weld it, may not look pretty but then I can hold off on buying the part and get a helmit that fits.
