Raise handlebars with stock handle bars??? Is it Possible... on 05 XB12SCG

I want to raise my handlebars back and towards my sitting position, however, at the moment i do not want to buy and install new pars or take off the items already on the bars.

Can i but risers that will work with the stock equipment?

I have the ASB risers on my SCG and they relieved(for me) a load of lower back stress. I did not change any cables or wires.

I don't get any lower back stiffness at all. Maybe because my gut almost rests on the air box cover.:D

I wonder what Ape Hangers would look like on a Buell.

i got a set of 1" risers from precision engineering. they help out quite a bit. with the 1" risers i did not have to move any cables or unhook anything. i just took the top clamp off and installed the risers with the stock top clamp. real easy.

ronin did the abs straighten your lean more so it was more comfortable?

They raised it about an inch, seems to be a bit less lean. I also rocked them back a little. I'm also 5'7".

I can still tuck as tight as anyone with clip-ons if needed. Somebody taller than maybe 5'10" might not be able to tuck as easily.
