If you are a DIYer, you can drop the front and not have the gap but it is not as aggressive looking as the other way. I dropped the holes down half way, drilled some new holes and used box nuts. The pic is not the best angle but you get the point.
I like it 03xb... I prefer to DIY, I am kinda ashamed that I didnt think of it myselfyou could even tap the holes. It looks better like that for numerous reasons (1) no gap (2) no empty holes. Probably better for night driving with a little added light. Thanks!
One of my roommates had a roll of foam w/ adhesive backing laying around. I put a strip of that across the back of the "wind screen". Filled that gap and looks really good.

03xb how did you drop it without gap on the top? did you drop the entire assembly with the gauges and all?
how well do the lights work with 'angry eyes'? Specifically at night.. thinking about doing this.

I bought it and the cowl off Xtremelow. you'd have to ask him.
