I just bought my first bike, an 05 XB9Sx. Somewhere between the test ride and getting her registered she's developed a hesitation. It seems to be worse when I'm in traffic and getting hot. Once I get going again it seems to clear up. Any ideas? Oh, it's bone stock. No airbox, filter, ECM or exhaust mods.

Yes, lower RPMs, and especially when it's hot. The seat gets pretty hot too, is that normal?
LOL, Everything getting Hot is normal for our bikes, especially bone stock. You'll know if it's overheating because it will go into Spark-Skip mode.
Get you a right side scoop, make sure to run Bike-specific Full synthetic, and get into tuning/datalogging later on and you'll be able to cool it down significantly.
