the 1050 kit gives you +~10 whp.
Does anyone on here have any info on the NRHS 1050 or 1200 kit for the xb9, or even better does anyone have the kit installed? Im looking into the 1050 kit for my 05 xb9sx and was wondering if its worth the money. thanks
the 1050 kit gives you +~10 whp.
I also want one. My motor seized when the oil pump went out if I replaced the pump and pit on the 1050. Or 1200. Kit would that fix it?
it depends if your bottom end needs work. if the top end is the only thing bad then yea that would fix it cause it comes with all new cylinders, pistons and rings.
My motors still good but i got an oil leak from a bad cylinder base gasket. I figured if im gonna pull the motor apart i might as well throw some parts at it and $700 doesnt sound too bad.
10 hp doesnt sound like much but combined with pipe filter and race map that would give you more power than a 12 and it would probley rev alot faster. I'm just wondering if anybody out there actually has it and how much difference it really makes.
The 10 hp is with some head work as well. The kit that produces that is 1500. The rep from NHRS said that the number he gave me was on the low end but that is how he always quotes them.
so if its that much it definitly doesnt seem worth it to me
i have their 1250 kit in my 12... if i had a 9 id deffinatly hav the 1050 kit! if you do the 1050 right with some moderate head porting pipe airbox and GOOD tuning you can see quite a bit above 10 RWP improvement...
if you have any quesions on stuff fron NRHS just ask or ALWAYS feel free to give them a call... they are super nice ppl out there and will work with you with anything...

I'm gonna go with this
Click it (you know you wanna)
Broke a valve spring, BO'd the Valve and Push rod. ... And my heart
So, I thought, Why not?
Also gonna throw this on there too: Lest, of course someone tells me they rocked it will ill results.
just keep in mine if you go with that kit you have to send your block out to get it machined so the stroker crank will clear... unless your a machinest and have access to a decent mill...
The NHRS kit is bolt on though, correct?
