So Like many of you, I have been searching for a hero blue airbox cover for some time now. I have had an order in at a Buell Dealer near me for almost a month now, and I was told they came off of backorder today. I should have mine in about a week or so. Just thought I would let those of you who were looking know that HD finally released the backorder, and some should be available.

Can these be ordered without the X protector?
Maybe someone reading this would want too trade their none "X" with my "X". I prefer not having it and it isn't just peel away adhesive, it's GLUED down.

I think they are $236 plus tax... and I am pretty certain you can get them without the x sincethats what I have on order

I know someone on badweather had removed his and was selling just the X. It might be tougher glue than the logo stickers, but it should definitely still be removable if you work at it.
Nope, I planned on pealig it off and selling it here, but I pealed a corner up, it's a Cyano-acetate based glue that fully cures hard (Super Glue)and does not have the typical rub off type rubbery consistancy like the lettering or other decals. The only way to get it off is too sand down the glue till its smooth and re-polish the acrylic, more work then I want to do :(
