was cleaning the bike of all the bugs, mud, dirt, dust; very carefully too. squeezed the trigger for a split second, maybe accidental, and ripped right thru the pipe wrap. :D oh well going to wrap'em black now, but what a pain in the a**

I always worry about that when im at the car wash.

Mine have become loose over time. Its about time to re-do it.

Pain in the ass yes, but so worth it!

Pressure washing a bike is a no no in my humble opinion..
I for one will always lovingly hand wash BamBam and then hand dry him with a towel, he does not get washed often as we are not concerned how clean he looks (save that for the owners of garage jewellery)
    :D

I am glad your baby did not suffer any real damage.

Some folks use a leaf blower to dry their rides

I had that **** wrap before. It sucks. Get rid of all that nonsence and get it ceramic dipped. You will never wrap a pipe again.
