plastic... use same plastics as XBR models, just like the 1125R
Sorry this is such an easy question, but I have not seen on ein real life. The seat rails on the CR, look like the plastic that the airbox is made from. Are these plastics that cover the seat rails? or are these metal, painted the same as the airbox?

Anyone have a picture of what the rear looks like without all the plastic?
The pieces under the seat on the XB9S and XB12S are metal(just like the X1), but all the XBR and 1125s pieces are plastic just like agfish said.
So the whole seat and everything is held to the frame by plastic? I HATE PLASTIC
yes, the plastic tail is held on by screws that attach it to the sub frame
What the suframe would look like without plastics:
the back seat is held into place by a metal tongue under the seat that slips under another metal bar and a locking mechanism in the rear.
i would like to see one with a lightning rear end and tail lift, that would look bad ass
Just so there's no confusion, the xbr and 1125 have metal subframes with a plastic tail and undertail. all the weight is still supported by metal, it's just the cosmetic bodywork thats plastic like most sportbikes.
have you seen this?i would like to see one with a lightning rear end and tail lift, that would look bad ass
Sick!
