Check all connectors, mainly all ground connectors.
Open loop starts at 5k rpm, btw.
Hallo all
I have a XB9 2006 with 6000 Km and after battery removal the driveability between 1,500 to 3,000 rpm becames very bad ( hesitation, backfire,....).Idle is ok, and above 3,500 rpm also ( open loop ). I already runned between 2,500 to 3,000 rpm during 3min as informed in the service manual, to recovered the original adaptation, but it didn't work fine. Any idea ?

Hi Ich. Tanks to clarify about 5k open loop ( i read something about above 3,5K ). This info now let the things worst....i have a problem of hesitation and misfire from 1,5 to 3,5k rpm where the DDBI system is working under closed loop configuration, but everything is ok from 3,5k to full throttle. No erros on trouble codes also. The ground connectors were checked and are fine. My doubt is related now if i need to run the engine with load passing through all the RPM conditions from 1,5 to 3,5k to recovered the self learning of DDBI system,....Thanks
Have you done any mods at all to your bike? With a good tune you can lug them down to 2k or so but our bikes really don't like anything below that.
