+1 on using a screwdriver. If you put a short bolt on the threaded puller hole and use something as a small fulcrom point on the frame (I used a 1/4" socket sitting on a rag to avoid marking the frame) a flat-bladed screwdriver will work just fine to lever on the bolt-head.
There are probably many ways to do it but that is one that doesn't risk marking the pump or the frame.
made one from scrap metal; its curved instead of squared like the kent one. drilled a hole in the middle and came out in 30 sec. :D
What size bolt fits in the puller hole?
I have one I made and I didn't even use it
I made one to and have used it a couple of times
try jim's usa...they may not have the tool you're looking for, but they have lots of others tools for Buell motorcycles, catalogs are pdf format, tools start on tab 20
I used a screwdriver, it wasn't that hard to get out.
What size is the bolt that fits in the fuel pump threads????
