as I said the other day on another post, I am selling my Buell race exhaust muffler, on ebay.
The BUELL RACE EXHAUST MUFFLER is one of the ultimate mufflers for BUELL XB motorcycles for great sound and great performance.
it will fit any year XB12 and XB9 BUELL motorcycles.
the BUELL RACE Muffler exhaust was design by BUELL for the BUELL RACE XBRR Motorcycles for top performance, it was discontinued around when the XBRR race bikes was no longer being made &/or sold to race teams. and the BUELL RACE muffler is no longer made , making it a very rare and hard to find
and usually it sells for high top dollar amounts.(seen one here on ebay for $1000) my buy it now price is about half that !!!
this race muffler has had the front cap replaced with a new one welded on, and is now in perfect alignment and fits perfectly as you can see in the pictures above.
( the original front cap was dented & smash in badly(from a previous owners) and wouldnt align with chin fairing so i had to replace it, the pipes was was never touched and are in perfect shape, and the performance and sound is EXACTLY the same , no change what so ever, just as great as the day it was made and left the factory.)
i have painted it all painted BLACK except the exhaust tips with VHT Flame Proof Black header silica ceramic coating paint.
as you can see from the pictures above it has a few small dents in it , but they CAN NOT BE SEEN WHEN THE MUFFLER IS ON YOUR BUELL, AND THEY DONT EFFECT THE SOUND OR THE PERFORMANVCE IN ANY WAY.
I am only selling it because i have some bills i want to pay off quickly and to buy something for my kids that I promised them, and I plan on buy another next spring.because the buell race muffler is in my opinion is one of the best sounding with great performance.

Here is a photo shop of what is in a Race Pipe, also I just sold mine for $400 but died at $380 for a couple days then bumped up on the last couple hours (mine is the second/third pics).
I laughed at the $1,000 claim. Seems a little high, but I have not been watching closely. Wish I had that kind of money to spend on a few HP

yes that guys $1000price may be to high , but it was also in norway, another had price for $750, and most have been hitting the sale price of $450+ and some closer to $500 over the last 6-8months, there is one is at $455 now and has not met it reserve yet , I know mine may not look that great from the pics , But it sounds and preformance EXACTLY the same as when it was new, because the pipes was NEVER touched and the dents are not seen at all( not many race pipes without dents now days unless it has barely or not been used,and the weld bead is only BARELY visible when it is installed on the bike with the chin fairing on. are some pics of it on my buell, and as i said before i need the money right now otherwise i would not sell , because i love this pipe it is great i love the sound and the preformance it has , it took me a week or more to really debate on selling it i really dont want to part with it, and i know next spring I will buy another and have to cough up $450 to $550 or more for another, but I'm a honest guy and have been honest about it i need the money for bills and I promised 2 of my boys something a couple months i told them when it came available i would get and now is it, & now I need to get the money for that.
It looks great on the bike I get lots people giving me great comments on how great it looks and they love how it sounds,
my greatest kick i get from it is when i pass or come up to some cruiser (harley's n honda and such) they cant believe how great it sounds and how loud it is, (sometimes its louder then thiers , I love that, they dont) they are always amazed ( or maybe it is they disapointed theirs doesnt sound as good)
There is one on ebay right now going for over 650!
