Not exactly sure what parts I need but I have a 04 Lightning and I am looking to convert the handle bars to the Firebolts. Not looking for the whole front end with the fairings since I am putting on the CR. Any help would be appreciated!

You can make it work if you drill some holes into the new top clamp, and either tap the holes or use rivnuts. You'll have to drill some holes in the brackets that hold the flyscreen for the clutch cable and clearance for the bars/triple clamp. I think the only other thing you've gotta sort through is getting the master cylinder to not hit the flyscreen. I think the guy who did the write up on here said he was going to look for an xbrr setup, but I haven't seen too many of those.

thanks for the thread mcgrath, exactly what I was looking for. I guess I'll have to decide which route will fit the CR front end the best.
Anyone have a R top triple to part out? I have the 41mm 04 forks if that will matter.
If I was going with the CR front end, I could just get some riser/adaptors, keep the lightning top triple and get some of the CR clubman bars. You'll know that'll fit right with the new headlight and won't have to try to deal with any clearance issues from the firebolt bars or crossroads.
I've thought about those but not sure if I like the look. They had a CR @ the Harley in MN but my leg's broke so I couldn't sit on it.
I have a 2006 Firebolt that I want to convert to Lightning bars. I'll trade you the upper triple tree, bars and all!!
