It has nothing to do with power! Its about gearing! The rev limiter is what stops my bike from going over 138mph. (full race kit xb12)

9's top off at 135mph, at least that is what the speedo reads

went thru an ICBC radar board during the summer and it clocked me at 220 kmph (125mph or so)
Fast enough for me, had stupid fast bikes in the past and BamBam has made me happier then any other bike I've owned...

I've done over 140 on my 03 9R, did 135 just last week and had some left for sure, not on the red line at all. Oh and my speedo goes up 160.

I tagged the rev limiter just north of 145 indicated on a dyno drag, I thought that this gauge face looked close to the one I took off but maybe not... I know that the speedo does not jive with my cars speedo or my GPS though (but I don't think my stock gauged did either)
I haven't had the guts to go nearly that fast on the street though. 110 is still go straight to jail loose your license fast, I try to stay under triple digits on public roads.

i've gone 2000mph on my buell. make sure you guys take off the reflectors, that gets you another 20mph EASY.
