Thread: drive belt pulley

  1. #1
Has anyone used the rear drivebelt pulley off of a 2003 Sportster (61 tooth) to replace a 09 XB9SX to creat lower RPM at higher speeds. If so please advise of any problems.

    Thanks!

Won't fit, hd's use a 5 bolt pattern and the xb's use six. You could get a different front pulley as long as you make/buy an adjustable idler.

Like mentioned above just switching pulleys isn't an option since they are a direct fit and need to have a specific count from AND rear to fit the stock belt.

They sell Aftermarket pulleys to gain what you want but you are looking at about $600 for the two pulleys
