There is a huge weight difference though. Not to mention gearing.
I'm not a guy who lives his life a quarter mile at a time(as i like corners), but i am curious as to which bike would win stock, and which would win with mods? torque figures aren't that different.

1125 runs in the 10 second area, the vrod is mid 11 second bike.
Yea. The 1125 has at least 100lbs on the V-Rod.
I have a screaming eagle Vrod and a xb12r. the Vrod is faster top speed but everything else is close. So I imagine the 1125 would kill the Vrod.
hey Taylor,
I like the subtle peg- graphic on the fuel tank it looks much better than a stark contrast, and sorry I hate HD! :p
I have an acquaintance who rides a V-rod, and his stock V-rod beat my old XB9R, but not by much...When I upgraded to my 1125, we re-tried the race, and my formerly stock 1125R definitely spanked him.
I haven't ridden either but I would hope the the 1125 would destroy a v-rod.
V-rod has roughly 115 HP at the crank I believe
1125R has roughly 146 HP at the crank
V-Rod Weighs 643 lbs Dry
1125R weighs 375 lbs dry
V-Rod has 84 ft/lb of torque
1125R has 82 ft/lb of torque
Im thinking that the 1125 is definitely faster
I had mine dyno'd last spring after building a pipe, I think it was in May. There was a guy with a v-rod there and he was pretty happy that he got 116 hp at the wheel. They ran mine while he watched, mine hit 133 on the same dyno with the stock ecm. Needless to say, he left without saying much more when he found out the displacement on mine was only 1125 cc and the engine was bone stock. With EBR's stock race map, mine is at 137 now and still needs more fuel to make it right.
My main problem is launching it and keeping it from flipping over.
