not an xb but uses a lot of xb parts.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I was actually going to repaint over the winter, but my funds just aren't there, but I will keep the white wheels just because they are a little out of the ordinary, but I would like to go with a color in the gunmetal grey area.Glade, it has been since you first posted pictures of it, but I think your xb is one of my all time favorites. Someday I'm hoping to put the xbr front fairing on my bike and I'm hoping it looks somewhere near that sweet, although mine isn't white, so I'll just have to see how it turns out.

for j4nn3... here ya go. its probably a little hard tos ee first off, but easy to explain. when you look at an original fairing front on, you will see how the panel has a 'curve shape line' that runs up each side piece to the mirror mounts. when i first cut down the height of the fairing it still looked a bit fat at the top to me, so i trimmed back the to the curve shape, narrowing the top of each side of teh fairing. makes the fairing look more slim and apprpriate for the height.
but then as well... i needed to trim down the sub frame support for the mirrors. i dont have those at all now.
Here is a picture of my fairing right after cutting it.
you can see the difference there using xtremelow's pic. i trimmed mine down the the second bolt (extreme has just taken down to the top bolt.
you see the curve between the mirror mount and the screen... thats the line i narrowed to.
Glade, two guns, and xtreme I blame u guys for sparking my interest in the swap and chop. Thankyou!!!
Can't wait to put some real miles on it and see the difference in riding positions.
