i just got my 1125s VA state inspection done with an XBLights LED tail light option#6 (with integrated turn signals), lo-beam HID's and LED marker lights
it has LED's in the turnsignals/mirrors, and had them on the rear turners stock, keep in mind
I personally have not....it matters what state you are in...in pa they are legal unless they are blue red or strobing or in the stock lighting positions...I had a friend get pulled over for putting a blue led in the headlight bucket
He's not talking about turn sigs and lic plate lights , Jobes got his bike lit up like a fireball with lights everywhere ! In Texas you can't drive with them all illuminated , only while parked ( for show ).
blue and red are more frowned on than the other colors.but its like anything else with the ploice.if your polite and show some respect youll probably get a warning.if your an ass wipe your going to get a ticket for sure.or if you are so lit up that your a distraction.like the idiots on harleys that light up a 10 ft circle around them.
i got pulled over in florida during bike week for having blue leds...guy let me off with a warning though
Maryland, Blue and Red are illegal.
LED's are 100% legal if they are the correct color, there is nothing an officer could do even if he hated them with a passion!
I have only been out a few times with the light in my red airbox, I was pretty paranoid about it. I eventually either need to put the switch somewhere I can reach it while I'm riding, or else once I put the K&N back in my bike I'm just going to put some LEDs inside the actual filter. It gives off a nice glowing effect but isn't actually bright, so I think it'd keep me out of too much trouble.
